Give to Me

Bring to Me what you cannot handle, I will lighten your load. When you were young, you brought Me many things, as you grew older, you kept from Me the many things you shouldered stating you were strong and needed not My help.  I see as you grow weary, I see the anguish which is your expression.  Giving to Me takes nothing away from your freedom, it takes nothing away from you strength.  We are in this life together, you and I, let Me be a part of it, let Me shoulder some of your woes.  Night after night you toss and turn, night after night I offer you peace and still you wrestle with your pride.  See that I want not to take from you anything, I offer only My services that you may walk without a limp, run without dragging a heavy load behind.  I am right here, right next to you, let Me be part of a solution whereby you find solace, whereby you can rest.  Whether I help to carry the load or not, I will always be by your side.  I am right here, when you are ready.  Sharing the load makes you not weak but rather wise.  Faith be your guide and I your companion along this weary road of humanity filled with deadlines, questionable morality, and flagrant behaviors. While the world tells you that you are weak, I will point out your strengthens, I will tell you of you wisdom.  You see what others never see for you look with your heart.  As the sun sets and the day comes to a close, you see My reach beyond the shadows and discover My peace but for a moment until the chaos of the day scatters the mind causing you to retreat from My presence of love.  Though you may retreat I am as close as ever, I am right here, loving you, wanting for you to know the depths of My love.  Yes, you have this, that and the other to take care of, but peace and love are My constants, please let me bear some of the load.  There is no shame in accepting help, you need not be an island for such the island that you have created no one visits and no one sees your struggles nor your efforts to keep it afloat.  Relax for a moment, step back and see that I am right here, I have never left you now will I ever leave you; you can count on Me always.  The exhaustion is effecting your decisions, you have begun to doubt My presence and affection for you.  Come, let Me share in your life, the day to day daily tasks, let Me assume My role as guardian, friend and Father.  My love for you runs deeper and the deepest ocean, let Me bring to you My love.  You have filled your life with worry, with decisions monopolizing the moment, with prideful embellishments of childish behavior manifested in aloft social status rankings.  All of this and more, much more, weighs upon your shoulders, weighs upon your soul causing you to be blind to My love.  Life is not perfect but it can be perfectly loved if you just let Me carry your load; it builds and build until you are unable to see your path, unable to take another step, unable to take a deep breath. Step back and see this load is much too cumbersome and its contents nothing of worth.  Still, until you are ready to expunge such a load, I will carry it; you will have access to it when you want but you need not be burdened by its weight.  Come, let Me be your partner along this journey; come let me love you as only I can...without judgment, without criticism, without condition.  Give to Me all that the world has thrown upon you, I will lighten your load and together we will walk into the wonder of now joined at the heart seeing life in love and love in life.  Give to Me your burdens and I will give to you My peace and wrap you, forever, in My love.
