We walk like we need to know; we speak like we know; we listen not for our mind concentrates on the insignificant details creating a smoke screen of which the human eye can no see past. And so we wander as we wonder, what is it we are doing wrong? Taught to search, we search yet in which direction; toward the dark, the night, the shadows mysteriously calling our name, assuming an invitation so something glorious? Seek and you shall find...find what; nothing seems to be found in the labyrinth we call humanity. Lost among the rubble, our fingers become bloody as we struggle to overturn huge boulders in an attempt to seek. Quickly the motivation becomes slated to defeat and the journey disproportional to the hope. Seeking becomes wanting, wanting that which the human mind has manifested as important, that which others deem attractive and necessary; star struck as seek that which claims no value by the heart yet is opportunistic by the mind. Seek not with the mind, seek not with human intent but rather seek with the heart, with the soul that seeking become a beautiful journey, one encapsulated by love, fortified by hope, and navigated by faith. With the Father at the helm, our seeking becomes finding as each door we knock upon is opened, we need not pry it, we need not force it, our fingers will not become bloodied for the heart knows its home, it knows the path of the Father’s reality and thus we march in the light of love seeking only for wholeness in Him. With each rap upon the door the Father offers pieces of Himself, we must choose to accept or deny. It is in our acceptance of such gifts that we grow in understanding, seeing clearly our path is lit by the flame of persistence, dedication and sacrifice. Challenging the wisdom from the Father serves only to confine the heart by giving power to the mind, in essence, allowing the mind to control the tasks and decisions at hand. Should we choose to see with the heart, the mind becomes a passive instigator and the heart purposefully clear, acting with intent to know, intent to serve. This is who we are in Christ, who we are once we begin to seek with the heart and act upon the soul for the mind gravitates toward deception while encoding movement as seeking. Seek with the heart, accept with each opened door, walk with His love. The already knows truth, it already is prepared in its purpose yet the choice lies within...how do we seek, with what intend is our search; is it to know...we already know; is it to find...the heart knows its home; is it to grandstand...the heart needs no such accolades. Our intend need only be closeness, be intimate love with the Father for this will easily in a search without anxiety, without fear, without frustration for this search requires only that we trust in the Father, trust in the one who loves us the most, who sent us to be love for one another, who sent us to be if we but listen and act upon the findings of the heart. So seek, knock, journey with the Father as with expectations of love, of salvation and of everlasting life. Choose, but choose wisely, choose the path, maybe not so readily taken, but the path lit by faith, glowing with the sincerity of love, paved in sacrifice, and offered with a single knock. Seek and we will find, find the Father behind every stone, find Him in every setting of the sun, find Him in every human interaction if we but put the ego aside and knock with the intention of service through love; the Father’s unconditional love manifested in our souls brought out by our willingness to act in faith and live in the acceptance of His unconditional love.
