Merry Christmas

Mary cuddles her child in a manger, she the warmth for His head as Joseph ponders his next move and worries what the further holds for his, now family.  And the tiny Baby lay wide eyed staring at His mother, and though, no Words does He speak, Mary knows His love for her, His love for the world.  This first Christmas, our Savior was born, that we may live, live the love, the hope, the peace the Father set forth, we are His motion.  And this Christmas, thousands of years later, celebrates the same...Christ’s birth and His love for the world. Looking at her Child, Mary knew that Jesus was special, that His pulse was the pulse of the world; she knew not how but that it was true that His actions would save the world.  The Christ Child, tosses in His mother’s arms and so she whispers:

“Hush now, my tiny Child, You are My hope

In Your eyes I see the world, I see it shining bright

You are the hope since lost

You are the love forgotten

I feel Your heart beat with mine

We are one as not the world is one

Your birth, my life, You are my heart, my soul, my breath

I will give you what I can but I know You will give more

With my yes to the Father, my soul leap for joy

And now You are here

You are in my arms, I feel Your love

What can I give to You?

I have only my heart to give

It is Yours, feel My love

Feel my soul

We are together and I will walk where You need me to go

In this together, You and I

I love You, my dear Child.

May Your heart be filled with love so great

Experience love each and every moment

Remain connected no matter the distance

Rendering our hearts complete

You and I, You and the world are forever one

Choose Your heart when the mind it hunts

Hunts for human wants

Remember the Father, His love is truth

Inspiring the world to know, to hope, to love

Surrender not to the tricks of humanity

Trust in the Father, trust in His words

Maintain the heart, be present with the Father

As He is present with You

Silence the platform of the soul that the Father may speak and we may hear.”

That very first Christmas Day, a Merry Christmas, Christ always in our Christmas, a Merry Christmas, not just a day, a greeting, but an offering of a Child who would save our world, save our beings by living as the life of a human yet never forgetting the words of His mother:

May Your heart be filled with love so great

Experience love each and every moment

Remain connected no matter the distance

Rendering our hearts complete

You and I, You and the world are forever one

Choose Your heart when the mind it hunts

Hunts for human wants

Remember the Father, His love is truth

Inspiring the world to know, to hope, to love

Surrender not to the tricks of humanity

Trust in the Father, trust in His words

Maintain the heart, be present with the Father

As He is present with You

Silence the platform of the soul that the Father may speak and we may hear

And so today we utter these words, holding true to the meaning of such a greeting...Merry Christmas!
