So what is stopping us? Stopping us from faith, from God, from worthiness, from love? Bombarded every second of the day, we begin to ignore that which we need allowing the distractions to claim our focus. If it is faith from which we are built, that it is faith which should have our sole. The basis of who we are, faith builds upon the truths and promises of the Father, opening the door to His reality; inviting us to share in such grace. Though we often turn from such grace, it is faith which builds upon our worthiness, prepping us for the Father’s deep, conditionless love. While we can walk, all of our days, in the reality of faith and the essence of the Father, it is we who sabotage our own journey as we allow distraction after distraction to taint our worthiness and redefine unconditional love. Look though but one day, where are the distractions, what are the distractions, who are the distractions? When do these distractions stop, how do they stop? It may seem that such distractions are just life and thus we label them as such while attempting to move on yet still blinded by its reach, still deafened by its pitch, still hurt by its touch. It may seem that even in our sleep, these distractions reach our being, tortured by thoughts we cat seem to let go. Whether it be pain, fear, anxiety, hatred, politics; all these and more, are distractions we allow as obstacles in our lives. The have to’s, the deadlines, the referendums, these all play into the hands of distractions, the hand of the ego wanting more and more control, building each wall of its prison taller and taller all the while calling it a “fortress” for protections. Time is most probably our greatest distraction for each day we race against it and each day it the victor. With every tick of the clock our distractions become greater obstacles, greater fears until it is to the distraction we pledge our allegiance; allowing each to claim our existence while romanticizing worthiness and love. Pity parties are self creations idolizing the misconceptions of reality; sanctioning the distractions as the final authority mapping our steps, telling us how to feel. With this method of distraction, life has but to dichotomies: a blink of an eye or a never ending reel; neither of which we are permitted to enjoy for our attention is misdirected to that which serves not the Father, that which has imprisoned faith. To live without distractions we must first look within, look within and see the Father dwelling within our being, see the Father’s loving eyes staring back at us. Life will still happen, distractions still present yet they will no longer impeded the heart, allowing for faith to take its proper place as our guide into a loving reality of which the Father has deemed us worthy. We cannot let human distractions, human glorifications become obstacles to our faith for it is our faith which makes us whole, our faith which encourages us to live in the reality of the Father, enveloped in love, creating for us a haven of peace, hope and joy amidst the fear, the hatred and uneasiness of humanity. Living in faith quickly discredits the distractions and their connectivity to the notion of “that’s just life”. Let us move from our distractions, whatever they may be, and move into the arms of the Father, that we may intimately know His voice, trust in His words, and feel the love which is offers to us, His worthy children. Begin today, look within...what is stopping us? Stopping us from faith, from God, from worthiness, from love? Once labeled, we need to reprioritize our lives placing God first and allowing faith to take its rightful place in our lives. Faith is who we are and love is who we will become with the help of the Father and His commitment to our worthiness in His reality marked by unconditional love.
