Lost

Here, in this moment, the world is lost. Lost among hatred, lost among violence, lost among criticism, the world is lost. Spiraling out of control, we have lost sight of our purpose; knowing not which end is up we struggle; struggle to see, struggle to breath, struggle to decipher truth from lies. Though we continue to fall, silently we know truth, we know goodness, we know we are not alone, the Father stands by our side. No longer need we struggle, no longer need we flail about hoping to stop our fall. God has us, He has wrapped his arms around us, holding us tight; love His blanket.  The images that flash before us are simply the trickery if the mind, the fabrications of truth which evil has transcribed as a litany for all to recite.  Evil is not our world, hatred is. It out world, violence is not our world, criticism is not our world.  To be rediscovered in truth we must be come lost in love, lost in hope, lost in wisdom that we may rightly see the Father’s hand in ours, leading us away from the lies and into the truth of His love. Let us be lost, lost in love that we may see all persons as extensions of Christ, love in the midst of spewing hatred. Let us be lost, lost in hope that we may see the beauty of this world enveloped by holiness and rid of violence. Let us be lost, lost in wisdom that we may speak the words of the Father and silence the criticism and cynicism which has become popular dialogue. We have the ability to change the narrative: in what will we become  lost?
