Today

Today is a new day, yesterday has passed and tomorrow is yet to be; today is the day.  Today is the day to: listen but how?  Silence the mind for without the chaos, without the anxious taunting of the mind, the heart is able to hear, able to see, able to feel.  Today, today is the day to hear; hear the Father call out our name; hear the Father whisper then shout His love for us; hear God tell us that we walk not alone, that He is forever by our side.  Today is the day to see; see the beauty of the world as it reflects the beauty from within; see love in action with ever random act of generosity and compassion; see God take our hand and walk with us along our journey.  Today is the day to feel; feel the unconditional love the Father has to offer; feel His protection as the rays of the sun warm our soul; feel His presence as we journey along ur chosen path.  Today is a day to reflect, to breathe, to settle the anxieties influenced by our choices, our intersections and our reactions to the world around us.  Today we step back.  Muted in love we let our actions speak, let our actions be our means of communication.  Embrace, let others know this love, let others experience such love without judgment, without expectation, without reservation for the Father’s love knows no boundaries, it knows no conditions thus our actions cannot be based on conditions, rather sincerity our intent.  Today...worry not about the comments, worry not about the ramblings from those who have not yet fallen silent, by those who have not yet learned to listen.  Listening is difficult, it requires discipline, it requires introspection, it requires patience.  Today we grow one step closer to awareness as we struggle to listen, to deny the bickering of the mind to impact this day.  Today is a new day... TODAY...Trust...Observe...Discover...Attention...Yield...Today is a new day and today is the day to begin anew.
