Dear Child,

Did you see the sun peek through the clouds this morning?  I was looking for you, I wanted you to wake up and see the beauty of the world.  This beauty captures the spirit of your soul, it is break taking, it is marvelous, it is you!  

Did you hear the rain crash against the metal roof?  It was a melody created just for you; a song, if you listen, echoes in your heart.  It is a song about us, about how much I love you, how much I want you to come rest in my arms, that I may just hold you and fill you with my love.  Did you hear it?  Are you listening?

Did you see the nest of baby blue jays in your back yard?  Did you see how much they rely on their mother for help?  They trust that she will be back, they trust that she will not abandon them.  Do you trust me?  I am right here and always will be.  Sometimes I hear you say, “Where are you, why are you not listening, why do you go away when I need you the most?”  I never leave you, I am always right here; by your side, loving, protecting and honoring you.  Can you not see me?  Do you  not feel me?  Trust, my child, trust.  Let go of that which holds you back from me, that which tells you I am far.  Place your trust in me, in my love and scales will fall from your eyes that you may see my face.  Your heart will open and you will feel my presence, forever, in your life.  Trust, my child, trust.

Do you remember when you asked for patiences?  This gift lies within you, it is there, you must use it.  Like the land owner who gave to his servants talents and checked on their progress upon his return, I have given you gifts which I want you to use for in each use new gifts will be exposed and others strengthened.  You have been given opportunities to practice this gift yet you frustrate quickly and say prayer does not work.  I, like the landowner, I trust you; I believe you can do a grand job if you just try.  If something doesn't work one way, try something else but do not give up or give in just go in a different direction.  Stop and take a breath, breathe in my love, breathe in my peace…patience a gift I offer to you, take it cultivate it, make it your own, allow your mind to settle into the heart and you will find peace, you will live in my peace wrapped in joy.

Do you know that I care about your, just yesterday I kissed your cheek?  Do you remember that warm breeze which came from nowhere and quickly dissipated?  That was me, I just wanted to say hi and wanted you to feel my presence.  I don't think you knew it was me.  Instead of stopping and being in the moment, you shrugged your shoulders in disgust thinking the wind would ruin your party.  I want for you to just stop, just listen, just feel.

What do you gain by this perpetual motion of both body and mind?  Exhaustion is not a reward rather a folly.  At the end of the day, I wish you would rest in my arms that I may fill you with love and peace; instead you lie awake contemplating the next conversation with your boss, deviation a way to move up the corporate ladder.  Your mind never stops.  This constant thought also inhibits the body.  Those aches and pains, if you would just stop, could heal.  Slow down and stop!

I know that the magnitude of this world seems grandiose…anything you want you can achieve for you have been presented with the land of opportunity.  Somehow skewed, this land of opportunity is only one dimensional, it offers only what you see; yet my reality offers love, offers faith, offers hope, offers life.  My reality is multi dimensional, we connect on the deepest of levels yet you can see and feel me in your best friend.  Come with me, if it is but for a moment, come with me and experience my world.  While you live in this world, while you cohabitate the earth with others; you, alone, are my pride and joy.  I treasure your person.  Your each move I know for I have watched; watched in loving hope that you will learn to use your heart, learn to listen to your heart for this is how I speak to you.  I know there are times when you feel lost, you feel alone, you feel forsaken.  Living a single dimension life is like lining the table with dominos and if one falls, they all fall causing heartache, disgust and aggravation. This need not be your life though it is the trend among humanity; the days of blindly following shall cease.  Be avant-garde, make your own path, discover the layers of my reality, my promises true life.  

Ah, I thought that might grab your attention, you a trendsetter!  Careful, following your heart may not make you millions, it probably will not land you a spot on Project Runway, nor will it get you that promotion you have been feverishly working towards.  A faith trendsetter may get you looks, be them perplexed looks as you turn the other cheek when someone speaks ill of you.  Delving into the depths of your souls will prove challenging for each masked layer of the soul must be removed that you may discover your innate beauty, that you may hear my voice calling to you, calling your name, inviting you into my world, my reality, into my life.  Fear not, I will journey with you every step of the way and though no stone will be left unturned, they will be turned together…you and I.  Tears will be shed along the way, I will take your hurt, your sadness if you but offer it to me.  Let your faith be your guide, I am right here, faith will lead you to me…trust.  There is that word again…TRUST.

A life of faith does not equate to perfection, for humanity’s definition of perfection only sets up disappointment.  Come with me and you will find joy in sadness, you will experience love among hatred, you will find peace amongst chaos…you ask how could this be, this cannot be true.  This is my truth all because I love you.  I love you deeply.  You are a part of me and I a part of you.  Come with me, experience life with me.  When you tire I will carry you.  Look back at your footprint and you will often see only one set…yes, that was still me with you, I just picked you up in my arms, inundated you with love and took you where you need to go.  Do you remember now, waking up, not know how you got there?  It was me…carrying you in love.  

Would you please just stop for a moment…I know trust had become a five letter word, one in which you want nothing to do with; but I am asking you to stop, just for a moment…

There, that was not so hard, was it?  Your world didn’t come crashing in, all your clients did not feel neglected…look, you are fine even a little peaceful.  All I ask is that you stop for a moment or two and just feel, just listen, just look all with your heart that you may feel, that you may hear, that you may see me in all aspects of your life because I am right here!  Never will I leave you…Always will I love you…Forever will I celebrate you!  You are my love, you are my heart.  Come with me, trust me, let us make this journey memorable.  Let us make memories derived from love, from peace, from hope and not from frustration, not from anxiety, not from the mind insulated by fear, weaponed with a inferiority complex.  I offer to you my love, my heart, trust me.  Each day, each moment of your life I have experienced.  Let me know wrap you in love that we may, together, share these experiences and you may live a life of joy.  Happiness my not always be at your door, but joy will blanket your heart and I will carry your weary body…today, tomorrow and always.  Whatever you need, my child, I am here; you just have to let me in, you just have to stop and feel, stop and listen, stop and look.  Our lives are interwoven in love, it is time for you to experience this love…it starts now…stop and trust me.
