Welcome the Stranger
Welcome the stranger, but just who is the stranger? We are all the stranger should we continue to allow the insignificant testimonies of society dictate our actions whereby we neglect our faith. Christ died that we may live and yet we live not if we follow not our faith, if we follow not the truths of our heart. Ignorance of faith begets a sense of entitlement, a path with slippery slopes and unstable rocks; a path which, should we become distracted for but a moment, we could find ourselves dangling from a cliff, needing rescued. Faith is not a requested directional acquisition; faith must be the focus of our perception, the direction of our course, the pitch of our voice, the image of every sight, the understanding of each prayer, collective and personal. Gifted with faith, it is incumbent up each of us to become aware of the weakness plagued by humanity, a weakness in which we become estranged from our God, distanced from our very person so much so that when we peer into the mirror we recognize not the person staring back. We the strangers, in our own humanity, pillage that which we know not for we have become lost, wandering the world ignorant of our purpose, claiming innocence from such devastating actions. From deep within faith calls, it urges to be heard and should we continue the course of the stranger, the voice of faith will continue to be ignored. Who is the stranger, what does he look like, how does she carry herself? Self rewarding actions the trail of every stranger for the path of validation his only sight. She cares only for that which can be seen, integrity falls from the radar as she acts only when seen and cares only when heard. Follow not the path of the stranger, be lead by the guide of the heart, reap in faith the love of Christ, our model, our understanding. Faith is the recovery force which draws from each his estranged ideals replacing them with a sense of compassion and holiness. Made in His image and likeness, we innately know the strength and magnetism of faith for it draws is into the love of the Father while mimicking actions of Christ and witnessing the presence of the Spirit throughout our daily lives. Though we share in the complexities of holiness, we become not holy until faith becomes our person distancing us from the need to be entangled in social woes. Enslavement by the ego no longer the driving force of our person as we begin to clearly see our own estrangement from our God, the distance we place between us and unconditional love, as justified by insolent actions perpetrated by infatuated ignorance dictated by worldly desires. Faith be our freedom, our vision, and our drive that we move from our clouded judgment and uncover the path delivered by the heart, requested by the soul. As we mark our journey along a new path, we distance ourselves from feelings of loneliness, of desperation, of neglect for faith affords us a personal relationship and understanding of our God and His offerings of love. Be not a stranger, act upon faith, act upon love and move forward in awareness of God. Strangers see with haughty eyes, the desperation and the despair imparted by ignorance of faith and yet bulks at the chance to wrap in the Father's love insisting its worldly education vastly superior to that of faith. Roaming without purpose, wandering without sight, a stranger becomes more of a stranger to one's self when one invests not in faith. Faith, the Father's protection from infestation from the ego, infestation from worldly propaganda...faith our gift of understanding that which the world see not. See, if for the first time, a holiness from within; walk the path of faith, fear not the curves not the hills, just walk and feel a familiarity. Be made warm by the Father's love, be made whole with a sense of purpose; look into the mirror and recognize the person staring back. Faith be the guide of such familiarity, of such love. Welcome the stranger, see yourself as God sees you...His child, His love, walking the well lite path of faith, validating His presence in your actions. Faith be your familiarity which purposes your life that you may live in the Father's graces, connected by love no longer a stranger in your own person.
