The world has gotten weird but faith is our home, our constant, our sanity. The world knows not its place; speaking for some, shouting for others, yet neglecting the masses. Quick to anger, quick to antagonize, quick to ridicule, the world sees no faces, it experiences no heart, it recognizes not the soul; yet it speaks with confidence, claiming experienced wisdom. Though its temper is short and its words critical, the world maintains mass following for status is what most seek. Lost among the darkness, lost without a voice, lost without direction, the world strips with follows of it humility, strips them of their dignity, leaving them vulnerable to the strike from pride. Aimlessly wandering, searching for empty promises and the world laughs knowing there is no prize to be won for allegiance to the world. Trenches worn, paths mined by reckless thought, mindless march the result of submission to a world committed to pride, envious of unconditional love, jealous of faith. And so the world continues its path of weirdness, continues it attack on the truths of the Father, its criticism on love, its justification of pride and vengeful actions. Coexisting with the world is faith; pure, innocent, truthful yet confident, courageous, insightful, faith our greatest asset. Faith allows us to see the unseen of the naked eye for faith looks with the heart and identifies with the soul. It hears what the ears determine to be rubbish yet is knows it is the Father call upon our name. Faith demagnetizes worry with hope while defeating pompousness with humility. Opening our heart, opens, too, our mind that we may experience the purity of love without conditions, without criticism. While the world continues to gravitate toward insanity, faith grounds us in the promises of the Father, leading us into the reality of His love where we can safely explore our person, safely erect connections, safely maintain the bonds created by trust. Faith frees us from expectations of defeat, expectations of grandeur as driven by pride for faith opens, at once, the heart, the soul, our being to the promises of the Father alive in the Spirit, working as truth in our now. Faith finds routes never explored and offers courage for such explorations. Faith, though constant, is never stagnant for faith offers wings to fly, offers arms to comfort, offers love to make us whole. As we grow in faith, we become more accustom to its voice, its tone, its words; we listen without judgment, we react without trepidation and, as such, we grown deeper into the Father’s love making the fibers of our connections that much stronger ensuring an eternal bond. And so the world will continue to get weird, it will continue to attempt control, continue to assume dominance over our decisions, over our thoughts and yet, with faith as our cornerstone, the world will gain no access to our heart, no access to our soul rendering its ‘power’ useless and inconsequential. Built to know, love and serve our Father, faith our source of inspiration, our source of power, our source of reality which can never be altered, which can never be compromised. Controlling the world is not an option for with every attempt it become that much more uncontrollable, therefore we must turn from the weirdness into the truth, the innocence, the mercy of faith and grown in love with the Father, inspired by the Son, and active in the Spirit. We must rise from the world following the heart and experiencing the soul in the Father’s love. Faith is our means of seeing, hearing, experiencing and knowing the truths promised by the Father active in the world. As the world grows weird, we must grow strong, strong in faith that we may maintain the course of love, no matter how windy, no matter how sharp the curves ahead. Faith, the constant of the heart which ignites the soul into action, freeing us from the weirdness of the world.
