Prayer

Prayer eclipses worry

Prayer eclipses anger

Prayer eclipses anxiety

Properly executed prayer maintains peace

Maintains love

Thwarts uneasiness

And prepares our holiness

It costs nothing yet makes us rich

Rich beyond our means

Prayer need be our accompanist in the moment

Each moment

Any moment

Every moment

For it requires no words, only listening

In the silence the Father speaks

Amongst the chaos, the Father speaks

Throughout the storms, the Father speaks

He is the calm

He is the hope

He is the love

It is when we stop talking that we hear, “I love you” in every breeze

In every crash of thunder

In every rustle of the leaves

For the Father’s love is everlasting

He knows our flaws, the limitations of humanity

Thus He gives us every opportunity to hear

That we may respond in friendship

That part become our means of communication

A give and take of listening

A give and take of speaking

Yet language never needed

The complication of words sorties hinders connection

Listen

He wants for us to listen

To hear with our heart

Hear with our soul

His words of love

Words of commitment

In return, our commitment is prayer

Is listening

Is execution

This proper execution of prayer simply requires our attention

Our full attention

In a moment

In this moment

In the next moment

We need to be aware

To be open to seeing

Open to hearing

Open to feeling the Father and accepting His words

Open to accepting our words without words

Communication via the soul

Communication with pure love

Prayer is our lifeline to everlasting love

Love in this moment and the next

Be held tight...pray
