Standing here gazing as the sky

For as long as I remember I always hear Your voice

Longing to be perfect, that perfect child

I know that perfect I cannot be yet still You are here with me

Every turn that I take, every track that I make

Every sound that I hear, every soul that I see

Leads me to the place I know 

The place You call home

Off in the distance, the horizon line it calls to me

No one but the heart, it knows for it know You

My heart I’ll follow just to know Your touch

I people act happy but joy evades them

They listen not to their heart, they act upon drive rather than from the heart

But You call out to me, You find me

You tell me exactly what is behind that horizon line

It is love, love from above

It calls me, it gives me, strength from You

That I can do, anything

I will go, I will sow Your love

With the intent to share

Here I am, looking at the horizon line wondering why other do not faze

The beauty, the depth of the permeates the air

My soul leaps, leaps with understanding for my heart has opened my eyes

And I know just how far You will go to love me and bring me home

I hear the rattling and the rumbling of a world caught in chaos

A world which has lost direction

Yet in the silence I hear a whisper, a gentle call, Your call

You wish to remove me from this chaos that I make know love

Leads me to the place I know

You have brought me here

You have shown me love

You bring me peace

For you brought me home

Through the muck of chaos, through the dance of tears
