We think them cool

Those never taken the fool

Respecting the gossip they hear

Working to be come the norm, become what they see

Yet in their heart they know

Know not who they are

Know not what to do

Always waiting for someone to say

Do this, do that

Be this, be that

Today we will fight for this

Tomorrow it will be for that

And yet we think others lame

Those who might take the blame

They stand firm

Holding to what they believe 

They know truth

It is who they are

It is what they speak

They wait not for others to guide

For it is God

Whom they know

Whom they follow where He go

His word, their action

Standing beside the world

There are choices to make

Actions to take

Who we become

Life beguiled

We step away

That we may see straight

Moving within our world

Actions upset the world

When we act in faith

When we do what is right

When we worry not who will fight

We plan in love

Move with respect

Take responsibility

Think of others

We, indeed, partnered with our God

And still we judge

The strong confused with the loud

Yelling for all to hear

Their ego swelled

Ready to be seen

 

The humble now called the weak

For their hands

Act with love

No one knows their name

And so where do we stand

How do we act

Is life a prop

Or is it quest

What do we seek

To showcase our pride?

To journey in His love?

This our choice

Our chosen move

Our life, our time to live

Be it faith

Be it hope

Be it love

To pass out time

We will stand

Outside our world

Yet always moving within

That the Lord

He may live

His love be shared

With all that pass 

With all who hear

He is love

We walk with Hm

Our lives now fused

With love, itself
