The moment

Listen, believe, act.  We walk the earth but for a moment yet in that moment we live a lifetime. Some days there is excitement, joy, and wonder; other days there is sadness, fear, and doubt. Though many challenges await us, faith is always prepared to carry us. In a world skewed by logistics and manipulated by human tongue, we need to invite the Father to be our perspective that we may view the world as intended: in love and in peace.  Such a perspective creates a harmony of understanding, a breath of compassion to contradict the forged compliance of humanity’s loudest voices: selfishness, entitlement, and vanity.  It is easy to put our heads down and run through each challenge without thought, without direction yet such action causes a repeat of the first and suddenly we we find ourselves in a vicious cycle whereby we have no direction, no understanding for we are lost in the shadows, lost and crippled by unreality of humanity. Life is within thus we must listen; listen for the calming voice of the Father. It is in listening that we come to life, that we begin to live in the very moment. Belief, no in a tangible world, but belief in the comprehensions of the heart, the “gut feelings” we so readily dismiss. Taught to believe in that which we can see, life quickly becomes a series of calculated moves dressed as motives for a cause, discovered to be imposed distractions.  Thus it is from our believing that we must act.  With compassion our step, understanding our stride and love our direction we are able to clearly see the path of faith hidden among the thistle, among the rubble, among the uncertainty of humanity. Our moment has begun, let us attempt to live a lifetime of love, a lifetime of compassion, a lifetime of connection: listening, believing and acting in faith, knowing the finality of humanity is not our end.  Unconditionally we are loved, unconditionally we must love for the Father promises an infinite end to such love. The moment has begun, listen, believe, act with the courage of the Father, the sincerity of the Son, and the determination of the Spirit. The moment has begun...go.
