Be
Be. Be who you are, many gifts you have been given; use this gifts for the betterment of others. God is in each gift, help others to see God, too know God, to feel the love God offers every second of the day. It is easy to fall into the ways of the world, easy to listen not with the heart for the ears reverberate sound which the mind readily interperpates, often erroneously interperpates. What we choose to hear and what we intrinsically know often contradict each other; then the question stands, which do we choose? When in the safari, there is no question of that which seeks to harm for the lions, they seek to hunt, to feast upon their kill. Widely known as predators, one avoids interaction with said lion in an attempt to not become a kill; evil avoided. Here, living among society, that which seeks to harm is not easily recognized for often it is camouflaged to entice, to lure us away from that which the hearts speaks that we may fall prey to its predator, evil itself. Presented under the guise of societal norms, we sheepishly follow accepted actions, attitudes and standards so as to not create riffs, become outcasts or ridiculed for behavior other than the norm. Be. Allow the heart to speak freely, listen for the words of God echo in the soul, wanting to take action of the body that love may pour forth, that love may become mainstream. The words of the heart unmask the evils present in society enabling us to clearly see the evil which lies before us, the evil which stands in the way of fluent movement, of loving movements. Caught in the net of acceptable standards, we negate our intrinsic knowledge; knowledge of the heart intertwined with the loving heart of the Father which enables us to see that which attempts to harm, that which attempts to deter us from the use of our gifts, gifts which allow us to be in communion with Christ, enveloped in love so much so that we are empowered to saturate the world with love. Be. Why be other than me? Ahh, because the world sees one way, it wants only one way and to stray from this one way we are made to feel inferior, made to feel les than effective, less than worthy. These are the evils lurking in the night, hidden by the light and masked by the actions of many who have lost their way. Would it not be earlier should all these evils be dressed as lions for then we would know who and what to avoid. Life among the people is life fashioned with disguises, fashioned so that the hurt, while felt, may not be seen. Life among the people includes strict adherence to elaborate rules, not for safety's sake but rather for popularity's sake for to be hurt with the 'in crowd' is more acceptable than feeling good in no crowd. Be. Gifts we have been given, gifts we set aside that we may walk among a group which cares not for our being only for its own satisfaction. Quickly we fall, quickly we walk among the evil, quickly our action like that of the evil, begetting evil action for evil action. Ahh, revenge the sweet taste of victory, the mind the perpetrator, the heart the prey. Common misconceptions of the heart keep our gifts from being used yet blame can not be thwarted by our persons for we are the only ones in charge of our being, in charge of our worth, in charge our actions, in charge of our feeling of inferiority and our need to belong. Responsibility for our actions or lack their of reside in our being not the camouflaged evils. Sole responsibility lies within our being so it is our choice to be. Be alive in the Spirit; be alive with our hearts; alive with God's word. Granted free will, each choice lies within our soul; let us look not to the mind for answers but rather the heart for here the truth dwells; where God dwells. Free, we can BE or we can be handled. While we may not see the lion in our midst, we can certainly feel him in our midst; if we but stop and listen, the powerful words of the heart will begin to echo throughout our being and that which feels insincere likely is insincere; that which feels forced, likely is forced; that which feels other that love is likely not love. Intrinsically, we know love, we know goodness for we are both love and goodness yet bombarded by evil, bombarded by hurt, hate and deception, we learn that injury is part of life, that injury need not be pardoned as apologies equate to weakness and weakness leads to ridicule which is the path of loneliness and despair. Attempting to remain on the populated path, divergence from the heart seems to be the only accepted trail. Emphatically the heart screams hoping to be heard, hoping to remind us of love, remind us of our purpose, remind us of our bond with the Father. It is easy to act the fool and follow the trail of sheep; it is much harder to be that which we are, be that who we are and create our own path. With the many gifts bestowed upon us, the path of goodness and love is not difficult to discover; for, while the lion is masqueraded by fellowship, concern and happiness, it is easily unmasked with the use of pure love, hope, faith and attention to our individual gifts which bring God to our everyday interactions. Be. Be nothing other than that which the heart speaks. Be the truth of God's word, the result of God's promise. Be love, be faith, be hope, just be. Worry not what others think nor the actions of others for hurt people hurt; they know hurt and want others to feel as they feel. Fall not as their prey; rather subscribe to love, intrinsic love, unconditional love; listen with the heart to the words of God and be...be love.
