Breath of God

And so life began with a breath; the breath of life as oxygen fills the lungs, rich nutrients reach the vital organs and carbon dioxide was expelled. The life breath is the breath of God which sustains not only of physical needs but our soul. Each breath taken is a gentle reminder of our connection to God and ultimately with others. To ride on the breath of God substantiates life in the arms of God; safe, warm, loved and energized. Some people take drugs to gain such a mind altering state yet the breath of God is hidden only by our mind, selfishly deemed fabricated that our heart may weaken and our breaths shallow to the point of suffocation. Suffocation in a demoralized society is the breathless society's lack of acceptance of that which lies before, that which surrounds, that which abounds...God himself.  To breathe the breath of God is to fill the mind with such unconditional love and nonjudgmental thoughts that we begin walking on clouds, thick, white gaseous balls of life giving oxygen which allows the heart to heal from the batterings of the mind. Each breath inhaled, the mind settles into the love of the heart, the body relaxes as tension melts away, the eyes opened, as if for the first time, to see an omnipotent, selfless God standing before us with outstretched hands. Take the hand, a journey to the soul, a journey of the soul starts with one breath, the breath of God. A constant state of joy awaits one single breath. The grapplings of mind and spirit become harmonized with the embodied breath of God. Energized, as if awakened from slumber, life has purpose, the rewards of life no longer tangible but soulfully inspired breaths which invigorate, rejuvenate and initiate actions of the heart. The mind now validates what the heart already knew, "The breath of God" is life itself, our source truth, of love, of life.  Reality, fabricated tales erected by erroneous interpretations and misconstrued theories, has the ability to suck the breath of God from our soul for the mind can overpower, forcing surrender on even the noblest of contenders. Absolute reality is the breath of God for unconditional love is innate, it is the source of our "power" while the mind is our kryptonite. A deep inhale of the breath of God and calmness over takes the recklessness, worry is overcome by peace, love fills the quagmires of hatred and doubt; life becomes this breath.  Settling into the breath, muscles release stress, the mind quiets that the heart may speak. As the breath whips through the soul, all that is heard is, "You are loved".  Rejuvenated in love, the breath of God saturates that body, that this breath may be shared with others. For in truth, we are one; connective fibers pass through our life breath and if we listen, we can speak without words for the heart is the true scholar, the true philosopher, the true theologian for it knows God, for it is God.  It is in the breath of God that we honestly experience God and gain the ability to love God and share God.
