Connection of the heart

Each step that we take leaves a permanent impression not on the grid of this earthen life; rather an indelible mark upon the soul.  The exordium of our personhood is discovered amongst the collective truths of these amassed footprints, for among them a story unfolds.  Though the treads differ in thickness from year to year, their purpose remains constant: an inspirational faith awakening.  The depth of each footprint uniquely parallels our life experiences so as the weight of the world slows us down or celebrations quicken our pace, our life reflections follow.  The rough terrain by which our paths cross often conceals our impressions leaving feelings of bewilderment and fear.  The chaos of our surroundings distracts causing a frenzy of doubt,  distrust and criticism of life's choices, talents and chosen paths.   A serene walk along a desolate path and the quiet consumes, permitting the heart to breathe.  Amber rays reflect the beauty of the still lake allowing the heart to fill the soul with feelings of tranquility and  solace.  Here, silence is truly golden...the heart hears the vested words of God gently speaking the majestic truth of faith.  Impressions of the soul exposed yet vulnerability not feared for the heart interprets with honesty and love.  Compounded steps broken; but not disjointed, speak of trials and tribulations yet the heart does not scrutinize for it only knows loves.  Love, the interpreter of the words which flow from the heart, flow from God rally a sense of worthiness, of understanding and the search for self continues with the dissection of each step taken.  With the paths sorted and steps wiped clean, the discovery of an unconditional connection points directly to the arms of God. Crossing the threshold of discovery, faith the path always taken and hope the destination sought.  God, the master of discovery under the guise of the heart. Tenderly we venture, eloquently we speak, patiently we interpret, lovingly we listen, graciously we ask, and confidently we step...step into the future of our faith.  Each step energizes, each step saturates with love, each step embraces with tenderness, each step closes the gap and brings clarity for we become who we are...intimately connected with our heart.
