Center Me, oh God

Center me, oh God, that I may see You in my day.  Center me, oh God, that the noise becomes not a distractions that I may hear You calling my name and offering Your hand.  Center me, oh God, that I may feel the intensity of Your love, feel the peace which You offer.  The anxiety of the day warps the moments to the point I question my peace, question my worthiness of Your presence.  Run, run, run, each moment, consumed by anxiety, anticipation, and doubt; is there enough time, will there be enough time, how can I gain more time.   Thwarted by the delusion of a measurement of confinement, time claws at my hope while attempting to sever my spirit yet, You will not let this happen, You give to me Your love, fill me with ability and give me an identity.  Center me, oh God, that I may fulfill my ability to love, my ability to give, my ability to take from each moment, Your presence and Your strength.  Center me, oh God, that my identity fuses together with my actions whereby love becomes my mission, my sight, my compass.  Center me, oh God, for in chaos of these days I wish to be found, found holding Your hand, found understanding my purpose, found not manipulated by the gravity of humanity’s contrived notions and theories.  Center me, oh God, center me.  Here, in this moment, I am aware; I am awake; I am alive in Your love, overwhelmed by Your concern for me.  Here, in this moment, I feel Your presence, I know Your reality, I accept Your love.  Here, in this moment, I am centered, I am Your love.  Here in this moment, I am with You as You are always with me.  Centered in this moment, I know i will not be perplexed by the next moment nor hindered by the chaos it claims not to possess.  Centered, Father, in this moment I look to the next prepared to see, prepared to hear, prepared to feel Your love, Your hope, Your peace.  Here, in this moment, my soul is centered, centered by You that the next moment, in whatever calamity it may hold, it, too, will be centered in Your unending love.  Center me, oh God, and may this moment be a forever moment.
