Where have we gone? Retreated into the abyss of humanism, lost among the caverns of egotism, haunted by destructive opinions; life flaunted as an amoral indignation whereby we find ourselves traveling through such quagmires thinking them definitive roads. Broken moments followed by refutable babble define not our moments, they render not our path for the torture of humanity is, itself, self inflicted upon our rejection of hope, upon our rejection of God’s word, upon the rejection of our purposed intention. Skewed by incantations of the mind, that which we see measures not to that which we know leaving us fearful and vulnerable. Afraid of such vulnerability we attempt to shield ourselves with whatever is within our reach: apathy, hate, pride, anger, anything to disguise that which we do not want others to see. A protege to the zealot forces our heart begins to scream, calling for sights of the soul, calling for a pause, an awareness of our surroundings, an inventory of our position. Awaken by hope, the visions previously imagined as reality melt like that of a Salvador Dali painting leaving us with a frightful view yet with an awareness of our God. Long we have walked, long we have feared, lost among the perfectly placed traps proving the existence of evil we have been found by the perfectly placed keys of hope proving the existence of God. In fear, we run; in hope we stop that we may listen to the words of God penetrate even our most stubborn moments. Consumed by the atmosphere of humanity we need to take a step back to feel the hand of God tenderly upon our shoulder, patiently awaiting our return to conditionless love...His offering now and always. Where have we gone? This matters not, where will we go from here? Well, that is the question...?
