Beauty Within

The beauty which surrounds compares not to the beauty which lies within.  While humanity demands the idea of perfection, this ideal causes sleepless nights and restless days for perfection is the antithesis of humanity.  While we can strive to become our best version of self, this version can never include perfection for this is reserved for the Father.  Doubt, fear, anxiety, while each can be tempered, none can be completely rendered incapacitated for humanity a derivative from fallibility.  Though we are less than perfect beings we are created in the image and likeness of the Father and therefore are, not only worthy of, but do, indeed, resonate with beauty, worth and value.  Working toward our best version, we sometimes stumble, we sometimes fall but the Father is always there to offer assistance, offer guidance, offer love that we may replace the doubt, the fear, the anxiety that has snuck in over time with unconditional love, unmatched hope, and unfaltering faith.  Who we are comes not from human accolades, but rather our accomplishments in character, in ascertaining who we are in Christ, in living our worth, in understanding our value to the Father, in acceptance of His love for it is with these strides that we become the beauty within; that we learn to accept such beauty as our own.  Created in His image, we are beauty every time we love is our forethought; each time hope is our breath, every moment where faith is life.  Created in His likeness, we resonate such beauty every time we offer assistance to another without thought of recompense; each time hope is created by our actions; every moment faith is who we have become.  The beauty which surrounds us may be breath taking, it may be picture worthy yet the beauty which lies within eclipses such beauty with the acceptance of purpose, love and capability.  We are capable of perfect love though we, ourselves, are imperfect.  We are capable of everlasting beauty though we, ourselves, sometimes feel insufficient.  The beauty which lies within derives from our acceptance of such imperfections which motivate us to live in communion with Christ, as imperfect beings, willing to learn, willing to listen, willing to act upon Christ’s love signifying our worthiness of such beauty.  To see within we need only to act in love.
