In these Times

In these times we wander and wonder, we fret and worry, we become agitated and pout; yet it is in these times we are afforded an opportunity to listen and hear, believe and know, see and act.  It is in these times that we are most vulnerable for what we know is confused by the speech of others and that which is understood is detained by the mind.  Such anxiety creates for us a sensation of being trapped, a feeling in which evokes a fight or flight mentality.  Should we stay and fight, do we fight that which impedes upon knowledge or the knowledge itself?  Should we take flight, do we run from that which attacks our understanding or our understanding, itself?  A time of confusion, a time of wonderment, a time for action; yet, before such action a knee we should take that we may fund our heart and retreat to the soul.  This our journey, these our choices yet never alone are we for the Father is by our side, each and every moment, even when we choose to go it alone.  In these times of confusion, we need not be clouded by jest, need not be frightened by the unknown, need not be intimidated by the surge of information for all we need for our survival is God.  He has gifted us with faith, He has gifted us with knowledge, He takes our hand and leads the way and yes, sometimes we resist.  It is in our resistance that we find ourselves lost, grieving and yet we know not why.  Vulnerable to the many adversaries we tend to march the path of least resistance claiming a better, easier, safer trek and yet it is this very path which causes the decline of our being; it is the very path which causes our instability leading to skewed vision and poor decisions.  Our strength is in the truth, in that which we have been gifted...God.  Should we choose His path, should we choose the truth of the heart, should we choose the visions of our soul then these troubled times become times of discovery, times of joyfulness, times of connectivity, times of togetherness.    In these times we have the opportunity to come to life, to be vulnerable in the Father’s love that we may gain wisdom and strength to combat our human insecurities, combat the frailties which insight the riots of the mind and keep us from God.  In these times we have choices, we have the ability to act for that which we know, that which we have been gifted is mightier than the crowds and it is ours to claim.  Claim love, claim God, claim the opportunity of life in these times for these times will last not forever...the times are here.  What will we do in these times?
